MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Junior Daniel Horseman (Cohutta, Ga.) of the Georgia College cross country team was named Bobcat Athlete of the Week for the week ending Oct. 17. This marks the first such honor for Horseman and the Bobcat cross country team this season.
Horseman finished first overall, helping Georgia College to a first place finish this past weekend at the Young Harris College Invitational. He set the pace for the Bobcats and the 8K race finishing with a personal best 27:52, destroying his previous personal best of 28:24.
The Bobcats are back in action Oct. 23 at the ASU Tri-Meet in Augusta, Ga.
