Softball Moves Games up Two Hours Tuesday

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - In the interest of playing under as much sunlight as possible, the Georgia College & State University softball team (27-17, 11-3 PBC) and head coach Ginger Chaffinch have moved tomorrow's (April 7) contest with Columbus State University (26-25, 8-6 PBC) up two hours to 2 p.m.

The doubleheader pairs the second and fourth team in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC). The Bobcats are led by All-American senior Mandy Chandler (Covington, Ga.) posting a 23-9 record with a 1.71 ERA and 343 strikeouts. At the plate, fellow All-American Sherquita Bostick (Florence, S.C.) is hitting .359 with seven home runs and 32 RBI, slugging a whopping .709.
