WGUR Set to Broadcast NCAA Softball Tournament Friday
HICKORY, N.C. - For its second NCAA Tournament broadcast of the 2008-09 school year, the Georgia College & State University student station, WGUR will broadcast the Bobcat softball opening round contest against Lenoir-Rhyne University.
The game begins at 4 p.m. with airtime set for 3:50 p.m. The Georgia College softball squad is making its fourth-straight trip to the NCAA Tournament, and sports information director Al Weston will provide the play-by-play.
WGUR is available on the airwaves at 88.9 FM in Milledgeville, with live internet streaming available at www.GCSURadio.com . Each GCSU game of the Hickory Regional will be broadcast on the station.
