GCSU Softball Reshuffles Weekend, Now Opening at Home Sunday
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The Georgia College & State University softball program and head coach Ginger Chaffinch have announced a doubleheader for Sunday, Feb. 7 at noon against Lynn University, in an effort to recoup games lost by the cancellation of the GSW Tournament originally set for this weekend in Americus, Ga.
Oncoming inclement weather cancelled the three-day, five-game tournament, so the Bobcats instead will open up against Lynn Sunday at the Peeler Complex. The Fighting Knights are of course skippered by former Georgia College assistant coach Mandy Harris.
