MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College softball team (7-20) and head coach Jamie Madewell-Grodecki are proud to announce the addition of Girl Scout Day Friday, March 11 at the Peeler Complex.
The Bobcats will play a doubleheader with Wingate University beginning at 3 p.m. and girl scouts are encouraged to come to both games.
The girl scouts will have the opportunity to be bat girls for the GC softball team in the second game. They will also meet all the players after the game and be able to run the bases on the same field on which the Bobcats play.
The Georgia College Department of Athletics, back-to-back winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup, sponsors 10 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
