MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Former Georgia College corner infielder Kori Pickowitz (2008-09) was recently named head coach of the softball team at local private school John Milledge Academy.
Pickowitz spent two seasons in a Bobcat uniform after transferring from Young Harris College. She was a starter at third, first and designated player for teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament in both her seasons. She was also a member of the 2009 GC squad that won the school’s first PBC Tournament Championship.
A native of Keller, Texas, Pickowitz and her younger sister Kati Pickowitz (2008-11) both were student-athletes for Bobcat softball.
