MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College softball team (34-14) enters the 2013 Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament with the highest seed for the program since 2009. The single elimination tournament is hosted by Flagler College in St. Augustine, Fla. and pits the top eight softball teams in the PBC against each other.

The No. 2-seed Bobcats will begin play taking on No. 7-seed Francis Marion University in the first round with the winner facing the winner of the No. 3-seed University of North Georgia and No. 6-seed USC Aiken.

The Bobcats split against Francis Marion at the Peeler Complex earlier this season March 3. GC softball also split against North Georgia March 21. The Bobcats swept Aiken recently, April 10.
