MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Freshman Faith Flanders (Dublin, Ga.) has been named Bobcat Athlete of the Week for her performance in helping the softball team to a 2-2 record this past weekend in the 2014 Bobcat Blast.
In her first collegiate softball pitching appearance, Flanders tossed seven shutout innings for the Bobcats against Queens University, only allowing three hits and no walks. She picked up her first win as the Bobcats defeated the Royals, 3-0.
