Softball Receives Votes in NFCA National Poll for Second Week
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The most recent National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) poll was released with the Georgia College softball team (20-6) receiving 17 votes. This marks the second-consecutive week that the team has received votes.
The Bobcats have won 13 of their last 15 games that include winning streaks of six and seven games, respectively.
There are two Peach Belt Conference schools in the top-10, with Armstrong Atlantic State University (21-5) at No. 4 and the University of North Georgia (23-7) ranked No. 9.
Georgia College returns to action later today Thursday, March 20 when they travel to the University of West Georgia (14-11) for a pair of non-conference games starting at 4 p.m.
