MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - For the second time this season, junior guard Chimere Jordan (Gray, Ga.) of the Georgia College & State University women's basketball team (7-4, 0-1 PBC) was selected GCSU Athlete of the Week. This is the second such honor for the women's basketball team as well this year.
Jordan was named to the Craig Massee Real Estate Classic All-Tournament Team after netting a career-best 28 points against Lincoln Memorial University and finding a way to score 11 against Tuskegee University, both in wins for the Bobcats. She went 11-of-19 with three threes for her 28 points against LMU. Against Tuskegee, she struggled from the field, but pulled down four rebounds, swatted a pair of shots and added three steals to her 11 points.
The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, Jan. 9 at 5:30 p.m. traveling to No. 11 Clayton State University.
