MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Senior Chimere Jordan (Gray, Ga.) of the Georgia College women’s basketball team (5-0) was named the Bobcat Athlete of the Week for the week ending Nov. 28. This marks the second such honor for both Jordan and the Bobcat women.

Georgia College Trifecta Leads to 67-58 Victory Over St. Augustine’s
DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Bobcat women’s basketball team (5-0) made it five-straight as they defeated St. Augustine’s College (4-2) 67-58 Saturday, getting three players in double figures in game three of the 2010 Chick-Fil-A Thanksgiving Classic hosted by North Georgia. Seniors Dominique Huffin (Tucker, Ga.) and Chimere Jordan (Gray, Ga.) along with sophomore Karisma Boykin (Carrollton, Ga.) all scored in double-digits for Georgia College.

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Georgia College women’s basketball (4-0) made it four wins in row as they defeated Trevecca Nazarene University (1-5) 66-55 Friday in game one of the 2010 Chik-Fil-A Thanksgiving Classic hosted by North Georgia. The Bobcats have won by an average of nearly 13 points during the four-game winning streak.
