GC Women’s Hoops Receives Votes in National Poll

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College women's basketball team (13-4, 5-4 PBC) is receiving votes in the USA TODAY ESPN Division II Top-25 Coaches' Poll for the second straight week.

The Bobcats finished 1-1 this past weekend with a win over UNC Pembroke, 48-45. GC received five votes in this week’s poll and Peach Belt Conference (PBC) opponent Francis Marion University is also receiving votes with three.

PBC foes Lander University and Clayton State University both remain at the one and two spots, respectively. USC Aiken moved up two spots in this week’s poll to No. 16.

The Georgia College women hope to start another winning streak at home for Relay for Life Night Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 5:30 p.m. against North Georgia.
