MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College women’s basketball Holiday Classic, a four-team tournament set for Dec. 29-30 in the Centennial Center, will feature a pair of firsts for Bobcat Athletics. The two-day, four-game tournament will be free admission for all and for the first time GC Kids Club information will be available.
Admission, normally $6 for adults and $3 for children will be waived for all at the door. UNC Pembroke takes on Wingate University Thursday, Dec. 29 at 5 p.m. followed by the Bobcats facing Newberry College at 7 p.m. On Dec. 30, UNCP meets Newberry at 1 p.m., with a GC/Wingate contest immediately following.
Dubbed “Thunder’s Junior Bobcat Club” the youth club will be geared toward kids up until age 13, and members will have special benefits, such as a “meet the players” day, a club-member T-shirt, select free food items at all GC Athletic contests, and much more. Sign-up information will be available at the two games.
