MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College women's basketball team (4-17, 2-10 PBC) dropped a hard-fought battle against the No. 5 Clayton State University Lakers (21-2, 11-1 PBC) Tuesday evening, 81-56.

The second half was a see-saw battle with both teams shooting well over a 50 percent clip. Freshman Shanteona Keys (Roswell, Ga.) exploded for 16 points in the second half, shooting 5-for-7 (.714). This effort would not be enough for the Bobcats.

Keys finished with a game-high 22 points on 7-of-17 (.470) from the field and dishing out four assists.
