AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 80 Georgia College student-athletes making the list. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2011-12 academic year.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Georgia College women’s basketball team (2-10, 0-3) held a 57-55 lead with 30 seconds to play, but a late three along with a free-throw from Flagler College (2-10, 1-5 PBC) in the waning seconds downed the Bobcats 59-57 Saturday afternoon.

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Georgia College women’s basketball team (2-6, 0-1 PBC) would rally to cut a once 14-point deficit to just five with 2:23 to play, but the valiant effort was a little too late as the Bobcats were eventually downed by the Saints of North Georgia (4-2, 1-0 PBC), 65-57, Wednesday night at Memorial Hall.
