MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 96 Georgia College student-athletes making the list. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2012-13 academic year.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College women’s basketball team (12-14, 8-11 PBC) took to the court for the final time in the 2012-13 season as they took on the Armstrong Pirates (13-13, 8-11 PBC) for Senior Day at the Centennial Center. The Bobcats led at the half but could not hold off the Pirate comeback as they pulled ahead and won 71-69.

Bobcats Drop Close Game at Falcons, 63-57
MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Georgia College women’s basketball team (11-9, 7-6 PBC) dropped a close game with potential playoff implications Thursday evening when the team traveled to take on the University of Montevallo (14-9, 9-5 PBC). The game would remain close the entire 40 minutes, with neither team ever leading by more than 10 points, but the Bobcats would come up short with the 63-57 loss.

The two teams would battle to a 49-49 tie after the first 40 minutes of basketball, but the Bobcats would pull ahead in overtime and finish with a 59-51 victory.
