MILLEDGEVILE, Ga. – Sophomore Shanteona Keys (Roswell, Ga.), guard on
Georgia College’s women’s basketball team, was awarded
the Bobcat Player of the Week after her performances against
Flagler College and Young Harris College.
Keys sunk 18 points against Flagler and 16 against Young Harris, securing a 50 percent and 55 percent shooting ratio, respectively. She is currently ranked sixth in the conference in scoring at 17.0 points per game.
The GC women’s basketball team will host North Georgia Jan. 17, where they will aim to earn a perfect record over the college, beating them previously Jan. 5, 72-71.
