AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced the All-PBC teams for women’s basketball Tuesday afternoon, with Shanteona Keys (Roswell, Ga.) of Georgia College being named to the second team.
She averaged 16.8 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals during her sophomore campaign. She started all 26 games for the Bobcats, averaging 34.7 minutes on the court. She shot 43.9 percent from the field and 37.2 percent from behind the arc.
Keys joins Brittany Hill of USC Aiken, Mimi Hill of the University of North Georgia, Tanchelle Hollingsworth of Augusta State University, Kayla Mobley of Clayton State University and Taren White of Columbus State University on the All-PBC Second-Team.
The sophomore guard currently sits at 869 career points after two seasons at Georgia College, 230 behind Chimere Jordan for 12th All-Time.
Keys ended her season against Armstrong Saturday, March 2 at the Centennial Center. She scored 25 points on 8-of-19 shooting from the field and 4-of-8 from three-point range. She pulled down four rebounds and had three steals.
