Head coach Maurice Smith enters his eighth season at the helm with Georgia College this Friday. The Bobcats enter this year coming off of a 15-12 record last season, while going 9-10 in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) and earning a spot in the PBC Quarterfinal last year.
The Bobcats return Preseason All-PBC selection Alyah McGriff (Suwannee) who led the team with 15.1 points per game last season, totaling 393 total points scored. The Bobcats also return junior Sydney Cleveland (Gainesville) and senior Ta'Asia Wright (Denmark, South Carolina) who each averaged over 20 minutes played per game.
