MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Junior forward Erin Drynan (Chicago, Illinois) of the Georgia College Women's Basketball team (14-7, 11-4 PBC) was named Bobcat Athlete of the Week for her efforts during the week ending Feb. 4. This marks the first such honor for Drynan and the fifth for Bobcat Women's Hoops this season.
The junior forward averaged a double-double with 14.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per contest over two Peach Belt Conference (PBC) victories this week. Her best game came Saturday against UNC Pembroke, going for 19 points, 14 rebounds, three blocks and two assists. She hit 9-for-13 from the field against the Braves to help the Bobcats to a five-point win.
The Bobcats are back in action this evening, Feb. 7 at 5:30 p.m., traveling to Clayton State University.
