Bobcat Women’s Basketball Ranked in Latest D2SIDA Region Poll

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College Women's Basketball Program (14-7, 11-4 PBC) landed the ninth spot in the D2SIDA South Eastern Region Poll for the week of Feb. 5-6.

The Bobcats are one of five Peach Belt Conference (PBC) members receiving the accolade. They join the University of North Georgia, Lander University, Flagler College, and Francis Marion University in the poll as well, who earned the three, five, eight, and ten spot, respectively.  

The Bobcats are on a four-game winning streak, including a win against the No. 10 ranked team in the region, Francis Marion. Georgia College heads to Clayton State University Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 5:30 p.m. to compete in a conference game at The Loch gymnasium.

The Georgia College Department of Athletics, two-time winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup, sponsors 11 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
