MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Junior Erin Drynan (Chicago, Illinois) of the Georgia College Women's Basketball team (16-10, 13-7 PBC) has been named Bobcat Athlete of the Week for her efforts during the week ending Feb. 18. This marks the second such honor for Drynan this season.
Drynan posted a double-double over three games this week, averaging 15.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 5.7 blocks per game. Her best contest was Wednesday against Columbus State University, going for 17 points, 15 rebounds and eight blocks, coming two shy of the school's single-game record. She also added 16 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and six blocks in the win over Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Champion University of North Georgia Saturday.
The Bobcats are back in action today, Feb. 21 at 5:30 p.m. traveling to Young Harris College.
