No. 4 Ranking Gives Georgia College New School Record

INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Committee has released the Regional Polls today (Nov. 5). This is the final regular-season poll. Georgia College & State University has moved up one spot to No. 4 in the Southeast Regional Poll. With the jump to No. 4, Georgia College again breaks a school record, as this is the highest the team has ever been ranked.

Nationally-ranked No. 19 Georgia College tied Columbus State University 0-0 Saturday Nov. 1. The win guaranteed the Bobcats the three-seed in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament as they hosted six-seed Lander University Tuesday night (Nov. 4). Georgia College was victorious in the catfight, 2-0.

The Bobcats look to redeem themselves against UNC Pembroke who gave them their only loss of the season. The semifinal showdown takes place Friday, Nov. 7 at 5:30 p.m. in Evans, Ga. at Blachard Woods Park.
