MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College & State University soccer team will hold “Think Pink Night” Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. in conjunction with the 2010 Peach Belt Conference (PBC) season opener against Georgia Southwestern State University at Bobcat Field.
Bobcat soccer joins with the semester’s sports marketing class to promote the event, designed to raise both awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
The Bobcat soccer players will wear pink jerseys that night, and related items will be up for auction, raffle and sale. Official “Think Pink” Georgia College Athletics T-Shirts will be available for sale at the university fountain on main campus Thursday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, leading up to the contest. Wear the shirt to the game and you’ll receive a free hot dog from the concession stand.
