MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – This weekend Bobcat Field will be home to the second tournament of the 2010 season, the Little Feet Invitational. Georgia College & State University (2-2) has won two-straight contests including the biggest win in school history over then No. 13 ranked Florida Tech 1-0.
Little Feet Foundation is an organization dedicated to distributing donated soccer balls from Little Feet Sports to those who are less fortunate and to develop sustainable soccer programs in the communities they serve.
Georgia Southwestern State University and Barry University will open the tourney Friday night at 5 p.m. The Hurricanes and Buccaneers are both 2-2 on the season.
Saturday’s matchup at 5 p.m. features the Hurricanes and the 0-5 Brewton Parker Barons.
Georgia College will meet Barry in the final game of the tourney on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
The Bobcats have their first Peach Belt Conference (PBC) game of the year Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. at home against Georgia Southwestern.
