Bobcat Soccer Hosts Community Hero Day

MILLEDGEVILLE, GA. – Georgia College Soccer will host “Community Hero Day” during the Saturday, Oct. 9 contest between the Bobcats and the Clayton State University Lakers at 3 p.m.

In recognition of “Super Hero Week” community heroes from Milledgeville will be recognized over the PA system for their work in the community during halftime.

At the beginning of the match, Milledgeville youth soccer teams will stand on the field with the Bobcats during the introduction of players and playing of the National Anthem. During halftime, the youth teams will scrimmage each other. After the game, the teams will be invited to tour the lockerroom and receive autographs from all Bobcat team members.

The Georgia College Department of Athletics, back-to-back winners of the PBC Commissioner's Cup, sponsors 10 varsity athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level.
