by Chloe Frew, sports information student assistant
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The Georgia College soccer team will show their appreciation for local photographers. All photographers are invited to come to the Oct. 16 Senior Day game against Flagler College at 6 p.m. and take pictures of the game.
After the game, the photographers can upload their best picture of the contest to the GC soccer Facebook page. The winner will receive a gift certificate to the Pickle Barrel, and their photo will be added to the Georgia College sports section of the Pickle Barrel. Also, it will be posted to the website and published in the Colonnade.
National Photography Appreciation Month is celebrated worldwide. It is an opportunity to preserve the work of photographers, and applaud them for their work. Georgia College is taking the opportunity to do so by showcasing the photographers at the game.
