MARTINEZ, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 90 Georgia College student-athletes making the list. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2010-11 academic year.

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Senior Ally Treat (Fayetteville, Ga.) tallied two goals in the second half but it was not enough as the Georgia College soccer team (7-7-3) lost in a penalty kick shootout at the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Quarterfinal Tuesday night at North Georgia (13-4-1). The defeat ends the 2010 campaign for the Bobcats.

Bobcat Soccer Begins 2010 Season Friday
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College & State University soccer program plans to mix in the old with the new this season, as the Bobcats welcome new head coach Hope Clark to take the helm. Back are eight starters from a team that finished third in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC), including four former All-PBC selections.

Former Graduate Assistant Coach Hired at Thomas University
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Chris Davidovicz, former graduate assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Georgia College & State University has been hired as the assistant men’s and women’s soccer coach at Thomas University. At Thomas, he will also be working as the recruiting coordinator for the Lady Night Hawks.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Bobcat soccer was pleased to help incoming freshman move in to their new dorms at Georgia College & State University. Aug. 12 was a hot and humid day but the soccer squad overcame the heat to help freshman adjust to their new college lifestyle. The event was a rewarding experience as the team worked together to welcome new Bobcat fans to campus.

KENNESAW, Ga. – The Georgia College & State University soccer team began its exhibition season Tuesday night at Division I Kennesaw State University. The Bobcats took the team picked to win the Atlantic Sun Conference title to the limit, falling 1-0 on an early second-half goal.
