MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – With a focus on the family, the Georgia College women’s soccer team and head coach Hope Clark hosted their second Valentine’s Day Father/Daughter, Mother/Son Soccer Clinic Feb. 12.
“This clinic remains a huge success and a great way to connect and give back to our community, which has been so supportive of GC soccer,” said coach Clark. “It was an excellent way for our student-athletes to realize the impact they can have on the lives of youths in the area, using soccer as the tool to help us make a connection. It was a lot of fun for our girls and we appreciate the involvement from the community.”
The clinic featured Georgia College’s brand-new Wellness and Recreation Center, on GC’s West Campus. The state-of-the-art facility has a sizeable indoor soccer surface, which served as the home for the clinic after holding it outdoors a year ago.
