AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Presidential Honor Roll recipients, with 89 Georgia College student-athletes making the list. The program honors all student-athletes with a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2011-12 academic year.

PEMBROKE, N.C. – The Georgia College women’s soccer team (4-9-0, 3-3-0 PBC) snuck past UNC Pembroke (8-4-1, 3-4 PBC) in a crucial Peach Belt Conference (PBC) matchup Wednesday afternoon at Varsity Grounds in Pembroke, N.C. Freshman midfielder Lindsey Knott (Macon, Ga.) used the cross bar to her advantage, ricocheting home the game’s lone goal to give GC the 1-0 victory.

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Georgia College women’s soccer (1-2) opened up its home schedule Friday night with a defeat, falling 2-1 to Wingate University at Bobcat Field. The contest was game two of the 2011 Bobcat Shootout, as Nova Southeastern University outlasted Tusculum College 4-3 in double overtime in game one.
