MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College soccer program and head coach Hope Clark are looking forward to hosting youth soccer as part of “Soccer Day in Milledgeville” Saturday, Sept. 29 as the Bobcats take on Clayton State University.
Members of the Morgan County U6 soccer league will be in attendance Saturday, walking out with the starters for introductions, then doing some fun drills at halftime of the 3 p.m. contest between the Bobcats and Lakers. Every youngster in attendance wearing a youth soccer jersey will receive a free GC logo window decal.
In addition, for the first time at Bobcat Field, the GC club men’s soccer team will play a match as well; providing doubleheader action for GC soccer fans.
The Bobcats will look for their second Peach Belt Conference (PBC) victory of the season as they host Clayton State, a squad riding a three-match win streak.
