GC Soccer Finishes #10 in Poll

MILLEGEVILLE, Ga. – With the season ending loss against Columbus State University last week in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) playoffs, the Georgia College soccer team finished as the No. 10 ranked team in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Southeast Region Rankings.

The final regional poll is dominated by PBC schools, with seven of the top 10 coming from the conference.

Armstrong is listed No. 1, with Lenoir-Rhyne University second and Columbus State in at No. 3. This is the third-straight week GC is ranked in the top 10 

The season has come to a close for GC soccer, a 2012 campaign featuring wins over three nationally-ranked opponents among the school’s 10-8-1 record. The Bobcats picked up double-digit victories for the first time since 2009.
