AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced the Preseason Coaches Poll for women's soccer Thursday, with Georgia College coming in tied for sixth.
The Bobcats earned 68 points to tie with UNC Pembroke for sixth. The top slot went to Columbus State University, picking up 111 points to edge defending PBC Champion Armstrong Atlantic State University by two.
Georgia College had a fourth-place vote and three fifth-place votes en route to their 68 total points.
The Bobcats start their 2013 campaign, the 10th anniversary of the Georgia College soccer program, at Barry University Thursday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. The home opener for GC soccer is day one of the Bobcat Shootout Tournament, Friday, Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. against Pfeiffer University.
