MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – High school students can now register to attend Georgia College's women's soccer ID Camp, set for Saturday, April 19 at Bobcat Field.
The Bobcat ID Camp is designed to teach technical training, small sided and 11v11 games, while also gaining what it takes to play at the colligate level. The day will be broken into two sessions, beginning at 10 a.m. to noon with a lunch break and starting back from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This camp acts as a less formal liaison between players and coaches. It is open to all high school female players giving them the opportunity to showcase skills, make connections and test the field. Georgia College's coaches will also be offering quality instruction and training to attendees. This camp allows high school students the chance to make connections with coaches that make it less intimidating during the formal recruitment process.
Lunch, a camp T-shirt and four hours of valuable teaching are included in the $75 registration fee. Check-ins will begin at 9 a.m. at Bobcat Field.
All donations will go to Women's Soccer Foundation.
