# 22 Georgia College to Play in Southeast Regional Tourney

FLORENCE, S.C. - For the 15th straight season, the No. 22 women's tennis team at Georgia College & State University (9-10, 5-5 PBC) will play in the NCAA Tournament, competing at one of the Southeast Regional sites hosted by Peach Belt Conference (PBC) school, Francis Marion University May 7-9.

Erskine College, Mount Olive College and fellow PBC member, Columbus State University, will all be at the regional as well.

Conference Carolinas opponents the Flying Fleet and Trojans will face off Thursday, May 7. The winner will advance to day two and face the host Patriots of Francis Marion.

Also on day two, Georgia College and head coach Steve Barsby goes up against Columbus State.

The winners of the matches Friday will square off May 9 for a spot in the Sweet-16.

Georgia College was 2-2 against all the teams competing at the regional this past spring. The Bobcats defeated Erskine 8-1 and Mount Olive 9-0.
