GC Women’s Tennis Stays Put at #30

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Georgia College women’s tennis team (8-3, 5-2 PBC) stayed at No. 30 in the first spring season national poll released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
The Bobcats started off the season 8-3 suffering two of their losses to No. 1 Armstrong Atlantic State University and No. 13 Francis Marion University. Kayla Barksdale (Augusta, Ga.) holds the team lead in wins with eight while May Johnson (Sydney, Australia) and Michelle Lingner (Dunwoody, Ga.) have a perfect record in doubles at 6-0.
The ‘Cats play at home against Peach Belt Conference foe the University of Montevallo Sunday, March 20 at noon.
