As voted on by the league’s coaches, the sophomore Setyon-Ortenzio was chosen to the Second Team in singles, also teaming with Barksdale for a Second Team honor in doubles.
Setyon-Ortenzio was 13-7 in singles action this season, including a 7-4 mark in PBC play. She went 6-4 at first singles, with a 7-3 mark in the second slot.
The junior Barksdale and Setyon-Ortenzio paired as the first doubles team for the majority of the season, compiling a 15-6 overall mark, going 9-3 against conference teams. The duo was 9-5 in the first slot, and 6-1 in the second.
The honor marks the second in doubles action for Barksdale, after teaming with Bertille Lion (2008-2011) for second-team honors in 2011. Setyon-Ortenzio brings down her first post-season hardware of her Bobcat career.
