GREENWOOD, S.C. – The No. 43 Georgia College women's tennis team (13-9, 7-6 PBC) finished their Peach Belt Conference (PBC) season Sunday afternoon as they took on Lander University (8-8, 4-7 PBC) and came away with the 5-2 victory.
Lander tied the game with Ruffat defeating Murray 6-0, 6-0.
Barksdale quickly put the Bobcats back in the lead with a 6-1, 6-3 takedown of Rico Martin. The victory extends Barksdale's winning streak to seven matches.
Krupp downed Vanhpraseuth 6-3, 6-3 and Johnson clinched the match with a 6-4, 6-0 win against Courbis.
The Bobcats finish the regular season Tuesday, April 9 at 4 p.m. against Clark Atlanta University.
