FLORENCE, S.C. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) held its annual awards banquet for tennis Thursday evening, with Georgia College women's tennis (14-9) landing a second team doubles squad in senior Kayla Barksdale (Augusta, Ga.) and freshman Katie Krupp (Evans, Ga.).
The duo has teamed for a 16-7 mark at first doubles for Georgia College this season, including a 9-4 mark in PBC play. The pair finished the season strong, taking victories in 12 of their final 13.
Barksdale picks up her third All-PBC honor, winning all three doubles awards with three different partners.
Krupp, Barksdale and the rest of the No. 5-seed Bobcats battle No. 4-seed Clayton State University tomorrow, April 12 at 8 a.m. in the opening round of the PBC Tournament.
