INDIANAPOLIS – The Georgia College women's tennis team (15-11) improved to fourth in the most recent NCAA Southeast Regional Ranking, having been previously ranked seventh.
The Bobcats recently finished fourth in the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament, and stand No. 42 in the nation.
Eight women's teams from the southeast region earn a place into the regional tournament, including automatic bids for teams that win their conference tournaments.
The team currently awaits seeding for the NCAA Tournament, set to begin Saturday, April 27. Georgia College will be vying for an at-large bid to make NCAA postseason play for the 19th straight season.
