The Bobcats trailed 2-1 after doubles. The Georgia College win came in the third slot, where junior Paula Garriga (Barcelona, Spain) and sophomore Emilia Richter (Berlin, Germany) teamed for an 8-5 win over Anke Poncelet and Taylor Vinge.

In the first slot, the nation's No. 16 doubles pairing of Jena Kelly (Lawrenceville) and Valeria Lopez (Galicia, Spain) fell for the first time this season, an 8-6 bout with Sabrina Schmidt and Estee Widdershoven. In second doubles, Kristen Jones (Marietta) and Emma Niemi (Cumming) also lost 8-6 to Daniella Barta and Hera Brynjarsdottir.

The domination in singles started on the sixth line, where Niemi pulled the team score even with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Amelia Cornwall.
