FLORENCE, S.C. – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) held its year-end awards ceremony Thursday night, with No. 25 Georgia College Women's Tennis getting two singles players and a doubles pairing on the stage.

Senior Jena Kelly (Lawrenceville, Georgia) made good on her Preseason All-PBC status by taking first team singles, while freshman Emilia Richter (Berlin, Germany) was nearly undefeated toward All-PBC Second Team honors. Kelly and her doubles teammate Valeria Lopez (Galicia, Spain) also earned a second team doubles award.

Kelly earns her first All-PBC singles honor with an 8-10 singles record on the top line, including 5-4 in PBC play. She beat one nationally-ranked opponent and two regionally-ranked ones this season.

Richter outmatched opponents on the way to a 15-1 regular-season mark in the third slot. She won the first 14 matches of her college career.

The pairing of Kelly and Lopez owns an 11-8 record and 5-4 against PBC opponents. Lopez brings in her first All-PBC doubles honor, as she was All-Sun Conference First Team in 2017 at the University of Texas at Arlington. Kelly was All-PBC Second Team Doubles last season with Emma Niemi.

All-time, Bobcat Women's Tennis has now had 41 All-PBC honors in singles with the most recent being Camille Clausse-Pujo in 2016. For doubles awards, this gives the GC Women 17 in program history.

The No. 2-seed Bobcats return to action Friday, April 20 at 9 a.m. in the PBC Tournament Quarterfinals, taking on No. 7-seed Augusta University.
