GC Volleyball Adds Anastasiades to Roster

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College volleyball team and head coach Gretchen Krumdieck are happy to announce the addition of Ella Anastasiades (Atlanta), a defensive specialist.

"Ella is a natural passer on the court," said Krumdieck. "She's very fluid and reacts well to the ball. Her positive upbeat attitude will be a great addition to the team."

Anastasiades lettered in volleyball at St. Pius X Catholic High School under John Fredrick. During her time at St. Pius she was named Best Defensive Player as well as earning a spot on the All-State Team. She will be starting her sophomore year when the Bobcats take the court next year.

GC Volleyball will be the newest program sponsored by GC Athletics and the 11th overall when they take the court during the fall 2013 season.
