MILLEDGEVILE, Ga. – The Georgia College volleyball team and head coach Gretchen Krumdieck have added a familiar face to the Bobcat volleyball roster, as Michelle DeMaris (Suwanee, Ga.) joins the squad.
DeMaris is a graduate of North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Ga. where she played under head coach Vanessa Henry. At North Gwinnett High, DeMaris was a three-sport athlete in volleyball, soccer, and track. During her high school career, she was named a Scholar Athlete, a member of the National Honors Society, and an Honor graduate.
DeMaris was a soccer player for the Bobcats during the last two seasons, playing defense and goalkeeper. She will serve GC volleyball as a defensive specialist in fall 2013.
GC Volleyball will be the newest program sponsored by GC Athletics and the 11th overall when they take the court during the fall 2013 season.
