Bobcat Volleyball Signs Ham for 2013

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College volleyball program and head coach Gretchen Krumdieck had a busy early signing period, adding Caroline Ham among others for the upcoming inaugural season.

“I'm very excited Caroline is going to be a Bobcat,” said Krumdieck. “She will bring a lot of consistency to the back row and is very steady in serve receive. I've seen her make some very athletic plays on defense.”

Ham attends Pope High in Marietta, Ga. where she plays for Bryan Jones. The All-State All-Star Team honoree was the squad’s leader in digs and passing average. Ham was also selected to the All-Area All-Star squad, adding Area Defensive Player of the Year.

She will play club ball for Atlanta Crush Volleyball this spring. Ham plans to major in psychology.

Georgia College added volleyball as its 11 varsity sport last fall, set to begin play in the NCAA Division II Peach Belt Conference (PBC) in fall 2013.
