MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Georgia College volleyball program and head coach Gretchen Krumdieck had a busy early signing period, adding Miller Howard among others for the upcoming inaugural season.
“Miller is going to be a great addition for the Bobcats,” said Krumdieck. “She uses her shots wisely to terminate and is a strong blocking presence. I am very excited Miller will be wearing blue and green next year.”
A native of Suwanee, Ga., Howard played volleyball at North Gwinnett High for head coach Vanessa Henry. She was selected Super Six and All-County First Team. Howard also played tennis for the Bulldogs.
Howard plans to major in physical therapy.
Georgia College added volleyball as its 11 varsity sport last fall, set to begin play in the NCAA Division II Peach Belt Conference (PBC) in fall 2013.
