NEW ORLEANS - On the strength of a runner-up finish at the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Championships over the weekend, the Georgia College & State University women's cross country team jumped five spots to No. 5 in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Southeast Region Poll.
The Bobcats are second among the five PBC schools in the poll, with PBC Champion Columbus State University slotted third overall.
