Bobcat Women’s Cross Country Ranked #8 in Southeast Region

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its Week 1 Region Rankings Tuesday, with Georgia College Women's Cross Country taking No. 8 in the Southeast Region.

The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) has five teams in the top-10 rankings. The Bobcats are fourth among the PBC schools on the list, led by fourth-ranked University of North Georgia. Augusta University comes sixth, followed by Flagler College in seventh. UNC Pembroke falls behind Georgia College in the ninth slot. Queens University (SAC) maintains the No. 1 slot in the Southeast Region.

The Bobcats will be back in action at the Jaguar Invitational hosted by Augusta University in Beech Island, South Carolina Saturday, Sept. 22.
