NEW ORLEANS, La. — The Georgia College Women's Cross Country team held onto the No. 6 slot in the most recent United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Southeast Region Poll, released Tuesday.
The Bobcats have appeared in every region poll this year. The spot comes after taking fourth in the 2018 Bobcat Invitational Saturday.
Georgia College is third of five Peach Belt Conference (PBC) schools on the list, led by Flagler College in third. The University of North Georgia is fifth, with Columbus State University and Augusta University coming in behind the Bobcats. The top spot belongs to Queens University of the South Atlantic Conference (SAC).
The Bobcats are back in action Saturday, Nov. 3 at 10:15 a.m., traveling to Augusta for the PBC Championships.
