MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The tabulations are done for the Fall 2018 semester, and each of the 11 individual Georgia College Athletics teams have posted a 3.0 or better grade point average (GPA) for the first time ever.
Led by a 3.80 from Bobcat Women’s Cross Country and a 3.55 from GC Softball, the Bobcat Athletic programs averaged a 3.27 GPA for the fall, a strong improvement over a 3.21 in Fall 2017.
Six of the 11 programs posted a GPA improvement over the one posted in the 2017-18 school year. The largest improvement came from GC Men’s Tennis, boosting their score up to a 3.45 to the men’s sports.
The 2017-18 team GPA title went to GC Women’s Cross Country with a whopping 3.79.
